I love taiko, but I can't imagine playing for 20 hours a day with only 5 hours a sleep each night!!! The "crucifixon"/seiza drill looked pretty unbearable. I certainly admire the dedication and inner strength of these apprentices. I was rooting for Charles Kellogg. Too bad he didn't make the cut.
*I noticed one of the trainees was wearing a Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble t-shirt. :)
