Exciting News
I recently found out that I was accepted to the 2009 Japan Exhange Teaching (JET) Program! Yatta! It has only been 2 years since I last visited Japan, but I'm so excited to be going back. My departure date is August 1st. I will be working as an Assistant Language Teacher in a primary or secondary school. I don't know where I'll be placed yet, but I hope there's a taiko group I can join. :)

I thought you were probably going to be a JET when I got your first email. Congratulations. Hope you'll enjoy the program. Try to make it up to Ishikawa sometime and visit Asano Taiko.
